Yasser Fish Bar
Welcome to Yasser Fish Bar, an eatery that has become a staple in Birmingham's culinary landscape. Located at 242 Warwick Road, Birmingham, EMEA B11 2ND, this fish bar has garnered attention for its diverse menu that celebrates the classic flavors of fish and chips, alongside an array of satisfying meals.
At Yasser Fish Bar, the heroes of the menu are undoubtedly the fish & chips. Their COD Fish & Chips Meal at just £9.50 is a highlight, offering crispy batter and flaky fish that many diners find irresistible. The fusion of traditional British and Middle Eastern cuisines here is also notable, with unique offerings like the Lamb Donner in Nan Meal available for £7.80, giving customers a delightful twist in flavor.
In addition to fish dishes, the menu features an array of fried chicken options, burgers, paninis, wraps, and even pizzas. The Chicken Supreme Burger with a hash brown is a real treat at £5.20, drawing diners back for its satisfying crunch and savory taste. Yasser Fish Bar also promotes family dining with enticing bucket meals and deals, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're grabbing a quick bite or indulging in a family feast, their meals cater to all appetites.
However, it's important to address some recent feedback from patrons. Several reviews indicate a shift in quality, especially concerning the doner meat and chicken. While the staff’s friendliness is repeatedly praised, some customers have expressed disappointment in their meals, particularly regarding the presentation and perceived lack of flavor. This feedback highlights a need for introspection and improvement, ensuring every dish meets the standard that Yasser Fish Bar once set.
In conclusion, Yasser Fish Bar offers a vibrant dining experience that merges traditional fish and chips with exciting flavor combinations. Whether you're a long-time fan or a newcomer, this establishment has something to offer. The enticing meals and welcoming atmosphere make it a spot worth visiting, but a little bit of care and consistency in quality could elevate it to its previous glory.

I used to love this place, but what a disappointment it’s become! The doner meat now smells off and is absolutely unappetizing. I couldn’t even finish my meal because of the terrible odor. To make matters worse, the chicken was clearly old dry, chewy, and just plain gross. I don’t know what happened to the quality, but I won’t be coming back anytime soon. It’s a real shame, as this used to be one of my go-to spots. Definitely not worth the money anymore.

I thought it would be good considering how yassers used to be back in the day, it wasn't anywhere near as good. Chips were a little dry. Still eatable.I also ordered a beef and onion pie. It was watery which I didn't like so I threw it away. The fillet wrap wasn't what I was looking for. I usually like dipping fillets wrap in mayo for the flavour. There was no flavour in the chicken. Then I took another bite and bit a knot in the chicken. That's when I threw the food away. The only good thing was the drink. Which they switched out for an Arab drink instead of Miranda. To be fair that drink was better then Miranda.I want the old yassers back. Back when it was nice. Okay that's it. See ya

Not good food and not even any care in presentation. The fish and chips is tiny even though it's the large option can't imagine how small the small is... But doesn't matter anyway as I could only eat less than half. The fish was cooked well just the chips were overcooked and all the sauces were at the bottom like they poured the sauces and then put the food on top. Lol ️ the Donner meat tasted alright. The battered sausage was hilarious but I ate it. It looked like the batter was running away from the sausage lolAnd the concrete cake and custard was cold. Also the curry sauce came in one of those small sauce tubs and was cold.. The tub lid looked like it had been in a traffic incident or on the Warwick Road or something .Yeah I wouldn't recommend this place.

Decent shop.Decor has been done recently. Food quality is OK. I do believe they're a bit overpriced. The staff were really nice. I think when you go when it's not that busy; you get a better service.
